My experience at Capgemini, Toulouse

To validate my Master’s degree in "Design and Management Innovation", I did a 2-year work-study at CAPGEMINI Toulouse in the "Creative Studio" team.

Capgemini, world leader in IT services and digital transformation

Capgemini was founded by Serge Krampf in 1967 and is today a global leader in consulting, IT services and digital transformation.
The Group currently employs over 200,000 people in more than 40 countries. It is with great enthusiasm that I joined Capgemini in Toulouse as part of the Creative Studio team.

Capgemini Toulouse, consulting specialist in the aeronautics sector

At Capgemini in Toulouse, we are consultants specialised in the aeronautics sector. We mainly support Airbus in its digital transformation. We also work with other companies such as CRNS and EDF.

Creative Studio

When I joined the Creative Studio team at Capgemini Toulouse, I joined a team of 20 people with very different profiles: UX designers, UI designers and integrators. Being a UX/UI designer, I discovered the diversity of the jobs and gained experience.

Various projects

As a consultant, I have had the opportunity to work on many different projects for various clients. I was able to accompany many clients such as Airbus and EDF in their digitalisation process. To do this, I was able to organise UX workshops (crazy 8, 6 to 1, persona ...) with users to understand their needs. Afterwards, I was able to create user paths, personas, wireframes and also organise user tests. Once the wireframes were validated, I added the UI to the models according to the constraints. Despite the graphic charter and the wireframes, we always challenge ourselves to have an attractive and creative proposal.
In addition, I have done motion design projects for Aibus. I was able to design trend boards to validate the graphic style of the video, make storyboards, create illustrations and animate them.
I also worked on proposals and internal projects for Capgemini to develop innovative products.

Working in a specific context

The Covid-19 has led us to work remotely. So I spent about a year of my work-study period working from home. This led me to be more autonomous on my projects. I had to organise remote UX workshops using collaboration tools such as MIRO, Mural, etc. In addition, to remain close to our clients and employees, we held daily remote meetings.
